Description:
Lycium ruthenicum is known as the black goji berry. It is considered a superfood as it is packed with nutrients plus healthful flavonoids and anthocyanins. The purple-black fruit is produced in such quantity that it turns this upright shrub to six feet into a weeping shrub. Eat the fruits fresh, dried or as a tea. Self-fertile but the presence of a second plant might result in heavier crops on both plants. Drought tolerant.
