Sanguisorba obtusa 'Alba' has a profusion of long, curving, pipe cleaner-like blooms that arch and sway above pinnate foliage with serrated edges. An unpretentious beauty, the seed heads look great for months after the fluffy parts die and dry out. These will form a two foot tall and wide clump happiest in a sunny to part-shade spot where the soil stays moist.
