Description:
Iris 'Dark Aura' is an intriguing hybrid between I. versicolor and I. virginica that emerges in spring with grape purple foliage that rises to an arching column three feet tall. In late spring or early summer jet black stems emerge holding aloft beautiful purple flowers with white and yellow markings. Grow in average, moist or wet garden soils in full sun.
