Description:
Gaultheria procumbens 'Peppermint Pearl' has polished evergreen foliage of deep, verdant green. Delicate, bell-like flowers bloom in early summer and persistent, large, white berries (instead of the usual red) appear in fall as much of the garden prepares for winter sleep. The berries are edible. A compact selection 6" tall and 12" wide, it prefers acidic soil and partial shade. Trim in April to shape and prune out dead wood.
