Description:
Cypripedium 'Rascal' (C. kentuckiense x C. parviflorum) has medium-sized flowers with warm yellow pouches that contrast boldly with highly twisted and rippled deep burgundy petals. One to two flowers per stem. Blooms in May/June. Taller and later blooming than 'Otto'. Grown from seed. Plants will resemble the image but may not be identical. Lady's slipper hybrids are much more vigorous and easy to grow than species. Well cared for clumps can double their flowering stems ever year! Blooming size.
