Description:
Dierama pauciflorum is a dwarf species from the high mountains of southern Africa. It produces upright wiry grass-like stems that are not pendulous. These hold magenta flower bells in spring long before other species. Beautiful on the edge, corner or possibly at a turning point in a path so you can stop and stare! Likes a sunny spot with good drainage and extra summer moisture.
