Description:
'Sunset Sky' is a gorgeous bearded iris cultivar that looks like the best sunset you've ever seen. The ruffled standards are a warm golden yellow. The falls have shades of lavender and purple-blue edged in yellow to orange-yellow. Mid season bloomer. Excellent for vertical effect in the landscape. Tall Bearded (TB) irises, previously known as Iris germanica, have greyish strap-like, pointed leaves from fleshy rhizomes and tall stems of gorgeous, often fragrant, flowers that come in every colour of the rainbow. Divide every two to three years (or when clumps become congested and flowering decreases) just after blooming. Trim the foliage back to a third and plant the rhizomes at or just below soil level. Deer and rabbit resistant.
