Description:
xAmarine tubergrenii is an intergeneric cross between Amaryllis belladonna and Nerine bowdenii. The flowers look like a Nerine but are larger with broader petals and held on taller stems to about 2.5 feet. They are hardy in coastal BC and bloom in the fall. In colder climates they make good pot specimens. Bring in as a houseplant in winter. The Belladiva series includes a full range of cultivars in varying shades of pink. 'Anastasia' has deep glowing pink flowers. Plant in full sun in well-drained soil. Possibly hardy into zone 7.
