A very rare but stunning vertical blue for the sunny garden, Scilla hyacinthoides 'Blue Arrow' looks like a rocket ship of starry blue flowers erupting from out of the border on stems to 2-3 feet tall. Hot, well-drained, sunny spots with average to poor soils. May be hardier than zone 8 but this plant is still not well-known in cultivation.
