Ornithogalum arabicum is a star-of-Bethlehem often referred to as Arabian starflower that grows widespread in southern Europe and northern Africa. It forms two foot stems topped with clusters of white, star-like flowers with glistening, jet black central ovaries. It has a beautiful fragrance. Great as a cut flower. Estimates of hardiness range from zones 7, 8 and 9. Grow in good drainage or in pots that can be protected for severe freezing.
