Description:
Fritillaria persica is a beautiful species with whorls of greyish-green, lance-shaped, slightly twisted-leaves covering two thirds of the 1-2 foot stems which are topped with up to 30 bell-shaped, downward-facing, deep plum purple flowers. This rare cultivar, 'Alba', is not white but sports chartreuse green bells that will light up the darkest spring day. Provide good drainage in full sun.
