Clematis 'Rebecca' is among the reddest of all clematis, emerging hot red and then changing to magenta-red.
Description:
This amazing Clematis comes from Raymond Evison, the most famous Clematis breeder of the moment. 'Rebecca' is among the reddest of all large-flowered clematis. When 'Rebecca' emerges she spends the first few days in tones of fire engine red and blue red with hints of magenta. This is shown in the picture which was taken at the nursery when the flowers opened. After a few days the flowers will turn to a red-magenta colour which is no longer a true hot red but is still down right luscious.
