'Renate Pastel' is a unique hybrid unlike any other yet introduced and is similar to the collector's dream C. macranthos semialba only much easier to grow. It has large, inflated ivory white pouches and tepals delicately striped with lavender-pink. Grows to 30-35 cm (12-14 in.) high. Blooms in May. A cross of two Asian species: C. macranthos and C. franchetii. Lady's slipper hybrids are much more vigorous and easy to grow than species.Grown from seed. Plants will resemble the image but may not be identical. Lady's slipper hybrids are much more vigorous and easy to grow than species. Well cared for clumps can double their flowering stems ever year!
