Lavandula stoechas 'Kew Red' is a compact Spanish lavender with deep pink to red flowers and pink fluttering "wings".
'Kew Red' Spanish lavender is a gracefully compact, free-flowering Lavandula stoechas that is well-branched with nice green foliage. It has clusters of small deep pink to red flowers with dark purple calyces contrasting with the pale pink of the sterile bracts which look like wings fluttering above the flower clusters. Spanish lavender is less hardy than the English lavenders but begins to bloom very early in the season and can keep on blooming for months.
