Description:
Caucasus sage (Salvia daghastanica) is an unusual and rare mat-forming, prostrate perennial with velvety, silver leaves forming tight basal rosettes up to 3-4 inches tall. The leaves are densely covered on both surfaces with silver-white hairs. The lavender-purple to purple-blue flowers are held in upright, 8-10 inch tall spikes.
