Ligustrum japonicum 'Rotundifolium' is a form of Japanese or wax leaf privet with wavy, rippled leaves. It is slower-growing and more compact than other cultivars with the leaves tightly packed on the stems to 4-5 feet high. The white, fragrant flowers bloom in mid to late spring followed by red berries that ripen in fall and persist through winter.
