Description:
Magnolia laevifolia, formerly Michelia yunnanensis, 'Warm Fuzzies' has dark green glossy leaves with velvety brown indumentum and fuzzy brown buds that open to creamy white blooms with a sweet, alluring, citrusy fragrance. It has a dense habit and would make a spectacular hedge or privacy screen for smaller landscapes, 6-8' tall and 5-6' wide. Requires acidic, well draining, moisture retentive soils and prefers a sheltered position in bright dappled light. Mulched with pine needles these may be hardy to -12C.
