Description:
The paperbark maple, Acer griseum, is a beautiful and distinctive species and a must have for anyone who loves the beauty and texture of bark. It is a slow-growing, small to medium sized, upright tree with compound leaves of three leaflets. The bark offers beautiful tones of copper, reddish orange, and warm browns. As the tree ages, the bark peels and curls which can be a spectacular site when backlit by the sun. The foliage offers great fall colour in shades of red, orange, and pink. For the 2024 Rare Flowering Tree Pre-Order plants will be newly potted in 15cm pots and about 1 foot tall.
