Description:
A spectacular yet elegant hybrid, Anemone Wild Swan 'Macane001' has nodding purple buds opening to large white flowers with light purple reverses. Flowers over an extended period from late spring into fall. Deep green mounds of foliage. A hybrid bred in Scotland and trialled for 10 years before release involving A. rupicola and up to 4-5 other parents! Winner of the 2011 Chelsea Flower Show Plant of the Year Award. Does not spread.
