Agave x leopoldii has narrow, dark green leaves with attractive white filifers "sproinging" off the leaf margins.
Description:
Agave x leopoldii is an old hybrid between A. filifera and A. schidigera. It has strong, narrow, dark green leaves edged with white filaments giving the plant a "hairy" look. In hot sun and/or with a little drought a nice red flush can develop in the foliage. Potentially hardy outside on the west coast in warm microclimates with good drainage. Otherwise this small agave makes for a good houseplant in winter.
