Anemonopsis macrophylla is an intriguing and delicate woodland plant with attractive, divided, ferny foliage with flowers held on thin stems to a height of one to two feet. Each flower is comprised of three outer, waxy, lilac sepals and up to 10 inner violet petals making a rounded cup-shape. Prefers even moisture and good drainage. A woodland setting or shade border would be perfect.
