Description:
This dramatic evergreen perennial was discovered and selected by Dan Hinkley in Sichuan Province, China. Six foot tall, bamboo-like shoots, often with a purple tint, arise in early spring. They quickly unfurl into a multi-branched clump, topped in late spring with creamy white, bell-like flowers. A beautiful plant for the woodland garden, its evergreen nature combined with persistent dark blue berries keeps some interest in the winter shade garden.
