Description:
'Victoria' has huge flowers with a yellow lip and twisted, yellow tepals striped with burgundy. The lip alone is almost the size of a chicken egg! The imposing plant with its broad leaves grows to 60 cm (23 in.) high -- a real eye-catcher in the shaded garden! Blooms in the second half of May. A cross of the North American C. parviflorum var. pubescens and the Asian C. fasciolatum. Lady's slipper hybrids are much more vigorous and easy to grow than species. Grown from seed. Plants will resemble the image but may not be identical. Lady's slipper hybrids are much more vigorous and easy to grow than species. Well cared for clumps can double their flowering stems ever year! Blooming size with multiple eyes.
