Lavendula x intermedia 'Provence' is a French lavender with light lavender-blue blooms on long stems. A prolific bloomer from mid to late summer. Evergreen in warm winter climates. Grows up to 3 feet tall in a tight mound of silver-green foliage. Flowers and foliage are extremely aromatic. One of the best lavenders for humid summers. Awesome for hedging. Requires excellent drainage. Shear lavenders lightly in early spring just as they begin growth and again after flowering to keep tidy. Pollinator magnet. Deer and rabbit resistant.
