Deep pink flowers look like a turtle's head in late summer.
Description:
Deep pink 'snapdragon-like' blooms are freely produced above glossy, dark green foliage held on dwarf plants to only 15 inches. Very pretty in perennial borders or containers with a good bloom period from high summer to early fall. Because this is a dwarf plant it can be used at the front of the border. Good in sun or semi-shade. Apparently quite deer-resistant. Performs best in evenly moist conditions with fertile loamy soil and abundant organic matter.
