From the Cocktails Series by Brent Horvath comes 'Alabama Slammer', a geum with brash and boisterous appeal. Burgundy purple calyxes (sepals) open to reveal ruffled, gold flowers with blazing red-orange markings and backs. The semi-double and single flowers measure one inch wide. The plants are compact with slightly glossy, lighter green foliage. Exhibits hybrid vigour and longer life than other cultivars. Easy and carefree. Deer resistant.
