Mangave ‘Macho Mocha’
Description:
A magnificent succulent agave relative with huge leaves that are variously spotted with shades of chocolate and overlain with a lavender sheen. ‘Macho Mocha’ is derived from a rare natural cross between Manfreda variegata and Agave celsii which grow together in the wild. Collector Paul Shoenfeld thought he had seed of the Manfreda. But when the seed germinated he had something very different and very rare. Plant in sharp drainage or in a container protected from winter rain.
