Description:
Rodgersia aesculifolia is a dramatic, long-lived perennial for shadier and moist locations though it can be grown in average soils in part sun. The large clumps consist of big, bold, palmate foliage consisting of 5-7 leaflets with great surface texture that resemble horse chestnut (Aesculus). Plants make a great focal point. Pyramidal towers of white flowers rise above the foliage in summer. Possibly hardy to zone 3.
