Description:
This hardy eastern US native orchid is similar to our BC native S. romanzoffiana. It is easy to grow and adaptable for garden and landscape use. Silvery-green ground-hugging rosettes slowly form colonies in moist soils, bogs or swamps. Fragrant white flowers spiral upward in August and September. Can also be used as a marginal plant for water gardens.
