Description:
Small, upward-facing tubular flowers of stunning Mediterranean blue are borne at the tops of semi-erect stems June-August. Forms an open bush of neat, glaucus green foliage and electric, near-luminescent blooms. ‘Jean Grace’ is less hardy than some penstemons and is classed as a tender perennial. How it will respond to our wet winters is uncertain. BUT, some sources report its flowering season to last six months which makes it worthwhile even if it is an annual!
