Description:
‘Great Expectations’ is an extremely beautiful Hosta and among the best of the blue and gold variegated cultivars. It is a sport of H. sieboldiana 'Elegans' emerging with a bright gold centre which can lighten to creamy gold surrounded by a dramatic, wide blue-green edge. The medium-sized clump sports near-white flowers in early summer. Provide morning sun or very open shade for best growth. Avoid full shade.
