Arisaema griffithii var. pradhanii is one of the most desirable and beautiful of cobra lily flowers.
Variety pradhanii is the rare Sikkim form of Arisaema griffithii. It is the choicest (yes, that is a word in horticulture!) and most beautiful form with a stunning contrast between the dark chocolate-purple background and the yellowish-green markings of the spathe which is up to eight inches across! A. griffithii resents summer heat and moisture. Plant it in a dry, partly-shaded position or at the base of a shrub or large tree.
