Hydrangea integrifolia is a rare evergreen climbing hydrangea from Taiwan and the Philippines.


Description:
Hydrangea integrifolia is a rare species of climbing hydrangea from Taiwan and the Philippines with dark green evergreen foliage. It is well-established in the UBC Botanical Garden and profiled in their book The Jade Garden. The new spring shoots and leaves are often coloured boldly in purple and scarlet red. The flowers appear in June as golf ball-sized white clusters that create a polka-dot appearance against the dark foliage. Water well until established, especially if planted at the base of a tree.
