Nipponanthemum nipponicum or Nippon daisy is a little-known yet easy-to-grow, fall-flowering daisy.
Nipponanthemum nipponicum or Nippon daisy is a little-known yet easy-to-grow, fall-flowering perennial that emerges in spring to form an architectural two foot wide clump clothed with glossy dark green sedum-like leaves. In early fall and well into November the entire clump is smothered with a striking display of large pure white daisies. I've seen it blooming in both southern Ontario and BC in fantastic fall displays. Plant in well drained soil.
