Description:
A distinctive cultivar from 1954, ‘Emily Mackenzie’ is a vigorous, free-flowering plant with extra large, dark orange flowers with yellow throats each surrounded by a red ring. Crocosmia is distinguished by tall, sword-shaped leaves and arching stems of flowers in shades of yellow, orange, and red. The blooms attract hummingbirds and are excellent for cutting. Full to part sun in average to moist, moderately rich, well-drained soil. Deer and rabbit resistant.
