Tibouchina urvilleana, also known as the princess flower, is a Brazilian shrub that can grow up to five metres tall with spectacular, bright purple-indigo flowers. Leaves are oblong, serrulate, possessing 3-7 prominent longitudinal veins and a soft, downy coating.
