Syneilesis aconitifolia is an intriguing aster relative that emerges from the ground like a fuzzy mushroom crossed with a rocket ship then it opens into a multi-spoked umbrella of leaflets that looks like it has been torn apart by a winter windstorm! Grown for its mounds of intriguing foliage, this species is flexible for a variety of conditions including dry shade! Insignificant whitish flowers in summer.
