Description:
This South American sea holly forms a large and very striking rosette of glossy, prickly, evergreen serrated leaves. These are topped with an intriguing thee to six foot inflorescence of white and green flowers. Very cool. This peculiar genus from the carrot family is found around the world but with its centre of diversity in South America. There are also a number of European species.
