Description:
This cute little violet is a great performer and a useful groundcover eventually forming a broad mat of dark purplish foliage punctuated with deep violet purple flowers. Also known as V. riviniana 'Purpurea', this species spreads by reseeding but is not invasive. Plant in full sun to full shade with reasonable moisture.
