Iris 'Marsh Mist' is a delicate beauty with cream to palest yellow or greenish yellow standards above light greenish-yellow falls.
Description:
'Marsh Mist' is a delicate beauty with cream to palest yellow or greenish yellow standards above light greenish-yellow falls overlaid with mid yellow. The beards are lavender-blue, bronze, deep orange, and yellow. Blooms in the early to mid season on 21 inch stems. Non-fragrant. The intermediate bearded iris (IB) are hybrids that look just like the classic tall bearded iris just at two thirds the height. Use them at the front or mid border, along pathways, and in rockeries in full sun in average to dry situations. Divide every two to three years (or when clumps become congested and flowering decreases) just after blooming. Trim the foliage back to a third and plant the rhizomes at or just below soil level. Deer and rabbit resistant.
