Clematis 'Abilene' displays delightful, glowing pink flowers with lightly ruffled sepals and contrasting yellow anthers. The central deep pink stripes become more prominent as flowers age. Plants reach just 4 feet, a size perfect for pots and patios. Blooms and reblooms from June and August. Pruning group B or C. Raymond Evison is the world's most famous Clematis breeder producing superior and distinctive cultivars with long bloom periods, excellent disease resistance, and bold colours. Use them on trellises and pergolas, grow them into shrubs, or use them as ground covers.
