Description:
Iris sibirica 'Purring Tiger' is a Siberian iris with elegant golden-yellow falls that are heavily veined in purple matching the ruffled, purple standards. It will reach 18 to 20 inches tall with an 18 to 24 inch spread. Siberian irises are useful as they fill the gap between spring and summer flowering perennials and between tall bearded irises and Japanese irises for a vibrant succession of colour while offering fine architectural foliage. Use in the cottage, rain and woodland gardens. In borders, mass plantings, as a focal point and in the vase. Hummingbird and bee attractor. Deer and rabbit resistant.
