Silphium perfoliatum 'The Holy Grail'

('productnameshort')

Silphium perfoliatum 'The Holy Grail' is a dramatic cup plant due to its height, chartreuse foliage and bright yellow daisies.

Description:
Silphium perfoliatum is known as the cup plant due to its large, triangular, toothed leaves that clasp the stem and catch rain water. It can reach dramatic heights up to 6-8 feet tall with a 3 foot spread. Bright yellow, daisy-like, nectar-rich flowers bloom in summer. Birds and insects use the collected water for a source of drinking water plus birds will eat the seeds. 'The Holy Grail' is a special selection with lime green to gold foliage. Grow in rich, well-drained soil. Use as a focal point at the back of the sunny border or in the cottage garden for vertical and wow appeal. Pollinator attractor.
