Description:
Rhodochiton atrosanguineus 'Purple Bells' is an exotic tender climbing vine with green, heart-shaped leaves edged in purple that easily coil around any support. Free-flowering blooms from spring to frost, are long, tubular and of the darkest purple suspended from purple-red bell-shaped calyces. After pollination, the tubes fall away with the sepals expanding and turning a greenish to rose-red colour for weeks on end. A fast-growing, easy care climber from 10 to 12 feet. Perfect for a wall, trellis, pergola or hanging baskets. Over winter in a frost-free area or treat as an annual. Photo: Wikipedia.
