Alstroemeria 'Summer Pepper' is a Peruvian lily with red petals, yellow throats and dark markings on tall stems.


Description:
Alstroemeria 'Summer Pepper' is a Peruvian lily with beautiful red petals and yellow throats with dark markings on tall stems up to 30 inches high blooming continuously from early summer to frost. Plants will be clumping or with clumps slowly expanding but will not be invasive. Pull stems instead of cutting to encourage a quicker reflush. Wonderful in the mixed border, in containers, and long lasting in vases. Attracts pollinators. Deer resistant. In colder zones, mulch clumps with a foot of fallen leaves or grow in pots and protect in a frost-free location for winter.
