Description:
Helleborus 'Mindy Marble' is the first cultivar from the Ice n' Roses series with mottled foliage ready to give the Frostkiss series a run for its money! This stunning cultivar has large mid pink flowers with white highlights atop lush dark green leaves at first veined and mottled with icy green later aging to mint green. Plants will begin to bloom in October or November in containers or November in the ground with flowers continuing for many months well into spring. A cross between H. x ericsmithii and H. x hybridus. The Ice n' Rose series are the largest of hellebores with huge leaves and flowers on tall stems up to 1.5 feet high. They are excellent for containers or the landscape. Plant in full or part sun, not shade. Deer resistant. Often listed as zone 5 but should grow well in zone 4 with a winter mulch of leaves and/or good snow cover.
