Morus nigra Nikita White is a unique mulberry with large, very sweet, juicy, white fruit that are early-ripening. Harvest through the summer into early fall. White cultivars are the sweetest of all mulberries. The trees are compact growing to about 10-15 feet tall. These exotic fruits are popular in Central Asia and the Middle East but are easily grown down to zone 5. In pot culture it can be maintained as a small tree with minor pruning. Cultivar name: 'Staroye Derevo #2'.
