Description:
Achillea millefolium, the common yarrow, is widespread circumboreal species that native right across Canada including BC. It is a common site along roadsides and in fields with its flat-topped clusters of small white flowers with pale yellow centres atop feathery, ferny, grey-green, aromatic foliage. It is an important nectar source for a wide range of insects and a host plant for moth and butterfly caterpillars. It can be used as a lawn alternative. Photo: Wikipedia.
