Geranium 'Philippe Vapelle' is one of the smaller hardy geraniums or cranesbills grown not only for its pretty flowers but foliage too. The leaves are small, rounded and gently cut with an interesting bumpy texture in blue-green tones. Single, violet-lavender flowers are borne above the foliage mounds that reach 12 inches high and wide. A perfect choice for the front of the border, in the rock garden or as a ground cover. Attracts bees and butterflies. Deer, rabbit, slug, snail and aphid resistant.
