Spirea japonica 'Double Play Gold' is an extremely hardy, easy care, multi-stemmed, finely textured deciduous shrub with a natural rounded, low mounding form to two feet tall and wide. Season long colour includes golden-green foliage followed by clusters of pink flowers. Blooms on new wood. Use as a mass planting, in rock or alpine gardens, as low hedging, and in containers. Attracts bees and butterflies. Tolerant of urban pollution. Deer resistant.
